RNC Mechanical Inc, a fast-growing, well-established HVAC Contractor, is seeking an HVAC Estimator with previous experience in the Multi-Family construction industry to join our growing team.
We are searching for a motivated, sharp-minded individual who is interested in the following roles and responsibilities:
- Assessing HVAC plans, and understanding scope of HVAC to bid
- Preparing material, equipment, and labor takeoffs
- Creating proposals, submittals, purchase orders, RFI's, and change orders
- Establishing a working relationship with our customers, vendors, and sub-contractors
- Offering value engineering suggestions when applicable
This role will be based out of our office in Morganville, NJ.
Requirements include:
- Knowledge of Commercial/Residential HVAC
- 2 years or more of Multi-Family estimating experience
- Proficient with Microsoft office including Excel, Word, Outlook.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills:
- Ability to negotiate effectively
- Knowledge of bidding software
- Strong organizational skills, flexibility and ability to prioritize work assignments
- Ability to develop budgets and timelines
- Multi-tasker and Organized
- Great customer service and a team attitude
- Works well on own or in a team environment
- Self-stater with strong work ethic
Prior experience with Bluebeam software is a plus.

Compensation: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour
